Priya knows every plant in those meadows by its Latin name and its local one. The farm stand lunch alone was worth the drive.

We brought 28 fourth graders. Organized, safe, and the safety plan arrived two weeks ahead. The teachers loved it as much as the kids did.

Rob read the water perfectly. Flat calm past the islands, and a harbor seal surfaced thirty feet from my kayak. Gear was spotless.

Booking questions

Good to know before you book.

Still unsure? Call us at (207) 555-0148 and talk to a guide.

How fit do I need to be?

If you can walk for an hour on uneven ground with a few stops, you can join any walk. The Mossy Forest Wander has the most scrambling over roots and boulders. Kayaking needs no experience, but you must be able to swim 50 yards.

What should I bring?

Sturdy boots or rain boots, a rain jacket, layers (Maine summer mornings can be 50°F), water and a snack. For water trips bring a swimsuit and towel. We supply the rest.

Do I need an Acadia park pass?

Yes. Trips inside Acadia National Park require a park entrance pass for each vehicle, bought online from the National Park Service or at a visitor center. It is not included in our prices. Annual and America the Beautiful passes are valid.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs on a 6 foot leash are welcome on the Blueberry & Forage Walk and Dawn Bird Walk. Please leave them at home for tide pooling, meadow days in nesting season and all water trips.

How far ahead should I book?

July and August tide pool dates and spring warbler mornings fill four to six weeks ahead. Most other trips have space a week or two before. Private trips need about three weeks.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 7 days before for a full refund. Between 7 days and 48 hours we refund 50% or move you to another date free. Full details are in our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
